How does Kingston Junior Chess keep your child safe?
We have clear safeguarding standards in place so every session is a safe, supervised environment where young players can focus on learning and having fun.

Child Safety & Safeguarding
Your child's safety and well-being are our highest priorities. Read our safety policy to see how we protect every junior player.
Supervision and drop-off policy
Parents stay for younger players or sign a consent form for drop-off. Every session is supervised by at least two trained lead coaches.

Your privacy matters to us. Learn how we handle and protect your family's information
Drop-off and pick-up are not optional extras here
We don't let children walk home alone or wait outside. (Unless you have agreed in writing that they have your permission to walk home) You sign them in, you sign them out — every single session on the fire safety sheet.

Our full club terms and conditions can be found on our main website:
Know our accident response plan
We keep a stocked first aid kit at every session and all staff know how to use it. For anything more serious, we call emergency services straight away.
